"Poetry: Young Heart" by Nebfabulous

The youthful mind is impressive to me
how one so young can say love so free
You can love someone yet appeal to another
but when they declare love you move on to discover
you find out that first love was true
you love the original one you choose
However now it seems too late
the love so true is on another date...

"We all want to be the best we can be, but how many of us can say we are truly objective?

Aww it sucks when you fall for someone so fast that you assume they feel the same way and you'll hook up as fast as the snap of fingers. But really your just thinking what you want to happen. The better thing to do is wait till you think the time is right to tell them. Not to rush it.

this poem was more clever then packed with emotion. i feel like the cleverness was holding you back from emotion. but it all depends on your purpose of this poem.
